[x] The "the" rule - again

The Brymers were a 60s band who released one 7" single. Years later, a label put out a comp and called them "Brymers". Although, the label didn't speak to anyone in the band, the band was OK with the release.
I think it's stupid that we would enter the band as just "Brymers" for this reason.
The band recently reunited, and recorded a new album, again under the name "The Brymers".
What we need is a compilation-exception to the "The" rule.

As long as it's a multi-artist comp (which it is), I agree and probably even more so given that the material was previously released, as far as I can tell, with the 'The' intact.

I've made this argument in the past. I still agree with it.
