i'm not convinced that this is a band rather than a collection of MCs under the Flavor Unit umbrella. could someone have a look? it could potentially get Queen Latifah and Naughty By Nature into the db.

Although the 'featuring' tag on the cover adds a little confusion, I can't see what the problem is. The label clearly identifies a band (The Flavor Unit MCs). As far as I can tell that band name hasn't been used by any other group of people so the listed members must be that band. The listed artists all co-wrote the track so they seem pretty fundamental to it. I don't have a problem with it - but then again I would vote for more inclusion on a number of super/charity/crew groups...

ok, i think you're right.
The Almighty R.S.O appear on the cover and on the b-side and i thought this may generate some problems, but on the label their track is credited separately to the RSO and not the Flavor Unit MCs.
also the single is from a compilation and on that they are credited separately as 'the flavor unit MCs':

now i'm more confident that this is a band.
