[x] Style

As well as the rules - would it be useful to have a style guide for reference? I'll start it for discussion if we agree it would help.

btw - what is our naming convention on splits now?

The splits issue still is undecided, as are 5 or 6 other tough policy decisions. I keep meaning to start some of those back up, but then I fall behind in other areas. I like the idea of a style guide and would like to see what you come up with.
