[x] "Ringo" rule v. typos

I think I already know the answer, but figured I'd ask. If a musician has an implied alias but there's a typo in his name on a release, would they get a double alias or does the typo stand alone?

Lucky Strano was mis-credited with the surname Stano on the release by Devastation Wagon.

The typo stands alone, from what I understand. That's how we've done it before, I'm sure.
