[x] question about multiple covers for same releases

I've got another band to add to the Long Island hardcore tree called Up The Fury (former members of Gracer, The Backup Plan and Since You) in the queue waiting to go. They have an EP out but according to their Myspace page, it says they had one cover for the CD version of the EP and a different cover for the 7" vinyl version. I'm not sure what the rules are for same releases with different covers so I'm unsure which one to use. I've got it set at the CD EP cover now, but if someone could help me figure out what to do here, that'd be excellent.

The use of the correct cover for the same release usually comes down to which one came out first. If it is an exact tie then it is a matter of personal preference because there is no "correct" cover. I personally prefer to use the vinyl version, but that's just me. There are plenty of albums with mulitple CD covers and it's the choice of the person adding the album about which to use. Do make a note of which one you are using and load the alternative into Evidence if possible.

I've used the 7" cover because I believe that one was released first, and used the CDEP cover as evidence. Thanks Kevin.
