I hate this entry - but hate it less the way we have it than any other way we could. I think this is important though as we may get some problems arising with public domain releases - these exist already of course but may become more prevalent as the attractiveness of the artists involved rises from now on. Who knows how they're going to be credited?

Don Falcone (of Spirits Burning) here. I don't know if this will help... but I can give you some things to chew on, in regards to Bob Calvert and Spirits Burning.

I was given a copy of Bob's poetry readings from his wife Jill in the late 90s. With her consent, I was given permission to use Bob as a vocalist.

Bob appears on two songs on Spirits Burning's Reflections In A Radio Shower

All of Bob's reading of the poem Centrigrade 232 were used in the song Drive-By-Poetry. An additional 2 lines of poetry were used in another song.

Scott mentioned royalities, so I thought it worthwhile to note that Bob's is included as a writer for both tracks. Here is info on Drive-By Poetry: [repertoire.bmi.com]
