I got the new Talisman DVD the other day and was surprised to see a couple of live performances with Jason Bieler from Saigon Kick on there. It seems he was their guitar player in 1990 or so. He toured with them and recorded a couple of demos that ended up on a Talisman compilation album. He also appears in a couple of videos for their first album.
Now the question is, does he qualify as a band member? He was in the band for only a year but he has toured and recorded with them. Saigon Kick and Talisman are both in the database already but now it takes 15 steps to connect them. If Bieler counts as a member it would be two steps.
So, do you think he qualifies as a Talisman member or not? If he does, I'll try to find some more info about that particular line-up, if not, I'll give it a rest :-)

The key here is whether or not Jason Bieler appeared on an offical band recording and if he did indeed record "a couple of demos that ended up on a Talisman compilation album" then that is all that is needed to qualify him. So long at the compilation was released publically (not a bootleg) and he is credited as recording on it as a member of the band, the compilation is the winning ticket.
