How do we title these, specifically if neither song title appears on the front cover? Would that make them s/t or do we still go with both song titles separated by a slash as if the titles were on the cover, as they are here for e.g.:
[bandtoband.com]

Or if there are no titles on the front do we just take the song title from the A side rather than the AA side?

Any thoughts?

If you take a look at the scans for your example (in particular [www.bandtoband.com] ), they really do support the notion that the proper title is "So Young/Tell Me" and not simply the first song title listed on the cover. This is a rare example of when the Swingin' Singles rule might not be appropriate.

The key issue with a Double A single is figuring out which side is the "first side" under Swingin' Singles #2. I think this is a reasonable way to identify the first side:

* A comes before AA.
* If both sides are marked A, then the side with the earlier matrix number is the first side.
* If both sides are marked A and the matrix is unknown, then the side with the song most commonly considered the first song is the first side.
* If none of the above apply, then just pick one title.
