Mark. I think that since this track had been previously released under the band name I would say that is 'a very good reason' to look very carefully before we allow re-crediting. It could also be argued that a multi-artist comp is a well-known breeding ground for crediting inaccuracies and errors and therefore we might also look at this entry in that light. I think my original position was where (say) Joe Perry and his band go into the studio as 'The Joe Perry Project' but, by the time of release, Perry decides it's a solo album. It seems to me difficult to disallow the band leader the right to do this both form a legitimacy and practicality point of view.
Python - I understand your point but still have to go back to the very clear crediting on the Highlander soundtrack. Other than what we think we know about the history of Shadow King etc, it's hard to find any hard evidence as to why this should not be credited as it lies on the CD.
