An unexpected collaboration

I got a whole bunch of recent-ish Hawkwind CDs for xmas this year, and one of them is a Mike Batt production. Seriously, that I had not been expecting.

Nearly as surprising as the fact that a pair CDs I found once of orchestrated versions of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin were the brainchild of Jaz Coleman out of Killing Joke.
