So Close, Yet So Far Away

I believe I've finally defeated my arch nemesis: collaborations with connectivity being properly rendered in family trees. The result is that Brian Eno's tree connects first to David Byrne and only then to the Talking Heads where as before it was Brian Eno -> Talking Heads.

The sad part of the story is that I had to shift the data storage paradigm in the daemon so as not to conflict with the family trees, however as a result the linking function has to now be re-written to reflect the new data structures. This means I have to go back and reverse engineer the search mechanism to account for the new data formatting which means that piece of the puzzle, including band statistics, is now down for the count.

I traded one trouble maker for another and my brain is now fried. I'm afraid everything is going to have to stay off-line until I can fix all of it...
