I don't find the explanation very confusing except that you don't say whether you're using "album distance" or "family tree distance" to calculate it.

Also, this is only marginally on-topic, but the individual band page for Assholeparade says that Atheist is "27 steps" away album-wise, but linking the two actually takes 35 steps as stated on the master stats page.

Actually it said "Family Tree" in the title but I've gone ahead and reset all the statistics and added the Jordan Center for the Album path as well.
