[x ] No release in band's home market

We have Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" single queued up, but it did not initially receive a release in the UK until a few years later. What cover/release info do we use? It was released probably simultaneously in many countries other than the UK. Do we just default to the US release, which was probably the band's biggest market?

Great question. If all of the foreign market releases were simultaneous (as far as we can tell), then I suppose any choice is reasonable.
