I have been investigating The Id, who describe themselves as:

"The Id are a band who have never met.

We collaborate online as band members live in Canada, Norway, Japan and the U.K."

There's already another "The Id" in b2b, a clearly UK based band with OMD connections.

So, how do we disambiguate this new "The Id"? What country are they based?

To cut this Gordian knot, can we set up a category "(Earth)" or "(Terra)" or whatever, to distinguish bands whose "nation" of origin is the 3rd rock from the Sun? Then we will have a way of future-proofing b2b to be able to distinguish such bands from any e.g. Ceres-based band set up by a bunch of second-generation asteroid miners.

Same question was asked here, and in the end it went live with the country of the member who put it out on his label:

In the meantime you could follow The Id's lead and select UK like they did on Bandcamp:

2 members listed on their website are based in the UK, so it dominates that stat:
