Different artist on cover / labels

Is this a case by case basis? Or do we have a set way to do these?

Current example:

"Glenn Miller" on front cover
"Glenn Miller And His Orchestra" on back cover and Side B label
"Glenn Miller And His Orch" on Side A label

Do we need to include the orchestra in this lineup or is it a Glenn Miller solo release?
