I think Tommy Schiff|| perhaps - can anyone vf?

"Guitar: Guitar Study Center; American Institute of Guitar ; Steve Tarshis- Hendrix ; Phil Grande: Joe Cocker, BOC ; Eddie Ojeda: Twisted Sister ; Daniel Debrit: Krokkus ; Jimmy Crespo : Aerosmith ; Howard Scherr-Muddy Waters, Clapton, S. R. Vaughn ; Tommy Schiff -Billy Squier"

Schiff aka Gunn co-writes with Bobby Blain and Susan Rickey in a NY scenethat looks pretty close to Piper. There's even a potential red herring with Blain being in a Sylvain Sylvain related band 'The Criminals', while ex-Piper drummer Richie Fontana is also in a band of that name a few years after - but there are no members in both bands so they may be unrelated....

Any joy anyone else?

""You Made Me Lose Control"... Performed by Fluff on their 1972 Roulette album "Fluff" sr-3011
Joerey Ortiz: lead & harmony vocals, acoustic guitars
Tommy Schiff: electric guitars, harmony vocals
Russell Schinnerer: bass, harmony vocals
Bobby Blaine: keyboards, harmony vocals
Roger Kahn: drums

The amazing (IMHO) Tommy Schiff went on to perform and record as Tommy Gunn with Billy Squier in his band "Piper"."
