Saw a fascinating little snippet "Money is a girl's best friend" by a bunch calling themselves "Contempt" from 1977 - not punk, but mock cabaret sounding more 10cc or Queen than anything else. Can't find anything about them apart from there are many copies of this single available all over the place online. Anyone?

I went ahead and entered this, as I found a link via Nick Pallett, who was also in Principal Edwards (Magic Theatre), connecting to Richard Jones of Climax Blues Band and Roger Swallow of Albion Country Band.

Fuchsia ... I remember them, hadn't realised they'd already made it onto the database. Missed that completely.
I will see if I can find something to back up any of this - but I have a nasty feeling there's not going to be much corroborative evidence here.

I verified this along with the albums it depends on.
