Trees and Forest

The band Forest recorded a s/t LP back in 1970-ish, and their lineup was Derek Allenby, Hadrian Welham, and Martin Welham.

The only connection I can find is via "Prism" and "Southernwood" but the trail kinda goes cold ...

I am also trying to research the band "Trees" (whose "The Garden of Jane Delawny" was covered by All About Eve back in 1989-ish) but again, can't find any connections.

I did some more research myself. You can link them through the band Casablanca's album "The Lost Funk"

Lead singer on that album was Aliki Ashman who also sang in Ginger Baker's Air Force. Guitar player Barry Clarke was also in Trees. Apparently he founded Casablance with another Trees member: David Costa. But Costa doesn't seem to appear on this particular album.

Also, it's Aliki Ashman, not Alika Ashman as listed on this site.
