Neurosis & related bands (attn: Kevin)

I notice you're building on the Isis tree right now. A while back I started trying to find a way to get Neurosis onto the site, because apparently Red Sparowes is supposed to contain members of Neurosis and Isis.

This is the source I'm going on. I am having trouble pinpointing who the member though since it doesn't look like anyone on the Red Sparowes releases we have in the dB match up with any Neurosis members.

Care to help me out with this one? Know anything I'm missing maybe?

that guy Pete Rypins isn't listed on any Neurosis releases.

It is possible that he didn't play on anything. I would like to see the credits for the "Word As Law" album, though. I had the Lookout! 7" at some point, but not anymore. I'll try to find someone who has that LP.

Off topic, but since it's Isis/Neurosis related, I've just added in the new Red Sparowes release into the queue, which will widen their family tree since their new lineup contains former members of Angel Hair, Pleasure Forever and The VSS (which will add to their tree too which is pretty small at the moment).

Supposedly Josh Graham of Red Sparowes is "formerly of Neurosis" but I've discovered that he does "visuals" for the band and doesn't actually play on any releases. There goes that option.

The bad news is that he isn't mentioned in 99% of the "biographies" about the band online, which makes me think they didn't consider him a member.

This band features all the members of Neurosis plus some other collaborators, like Scott Ayers of Pain Teens. I'm not sure which lineups are correct though:

I just found a connection between Neurosis and Cub and Pansy Division through the indie band I Am Spoonbender. Wow, who knew?
