Not sure where else to post this ...
Been trying to get The Rubettes in (such is my evil sense of humour) and note that the only link appears to be Mick Clarke.
[www.rubettes.com] http://www.rubettes.com/biography.htm
However, I've been checking to see whether it *is* the same Mick Clarke that we already have in the db, and it appears that there might be *at least three* of them ...
[www.bluesdatabase.com] http://www.bluesdatabase.com/modules.php?name=Discographies&look=albums-1662...
... seems to indicate a bluesman, whose website is:
[www.marshalamp.com] http://www.marshalamp.com/mickclarkecom.htm
... and no mention of Rubettes (mind, it's something you'd keep quiet) - it's Killing Floor and Salt he seems to have been in.
[www.fridhammar.com] http://www.fridhammar.com/xmickclar.html confirms this info.
Then there's our guy from The Rubettes:
[www.therubettes.de] http://www.therubettes.de/english/html/mick_clarke.html
[www.rubettes-dutch.com] http://www.rubettes-dutch.com/Mick%20Clarke.htm
... and we see it's *not* the same guy as his birthday's different for a start, notwithstanding his instrument of choice.
Then there's a *third* Mick Clarke who performed on Orang Utan s/t and also Freddie Mac's Extravaganza
[www.geocities.com] http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Diner/2674/seopardie_jeff_a.htm
He's differentiated from Mick Clarke (blues) in:
[www.geocities.com] http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palladium/9932/oly_guit.htm
where you also get an idea of the other bands both have been in.
Any more Mick Clarkes out there?
