If so, has anybody got a definitive view on whether "Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports" is a solo album or a group effort? Since Carla Bley wrote all the words and music, I find it hard to credit that it is a solo album? If it is a group, who else in the performers on that album would qualify as a member? I need a break on Karen Kraft to make a further connection! Thanks.

Dunno about Karen Kraft but I've got a few submissions in abeyance that include Carla Bley (Carla Bley Band and another Golden Palominos album):

I need Kraft to get to Novi Novog to get one of my top 'target bands' for this site, Russia ... fingers crossed .. I think I'll chance my arm with Fictitious Sports and see if the powers-that-be :-) are in a good mood that day!
... and I call myself a Floyd fan?

I never actually had a copy of Fictitious Sports but I always assumed it was a Nick Mason solo album (plus guests) - the album being called "Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports", the "band" being Nick Mason. Which would be a damn shame.
