Toby Knapp and Jeff Gruslin, who are in the queue for Onward and Vital Remains respectively, have joined forces in Godless Rising. The band is supposed to record an album in 2008.

Perhaps a tip for Python: power metal supergroup Stygia are planning to record an album:

Looks like Stygia released a demo last year. Queued; nice shortcut from Mangini to Vescera.

The Roots are coming out with a new album, with bassist Owen Biddle as a full-fledged member (he used to be a producer):

Looking forward to connecting The Roots to another band in the Philly pantheon, The Dead Milkmen. (Biddle was in The Trolleyvox with Andrew Chalfin, who was in The Shimmers with Eden Daniels, who was in Baby Flamehead with Dean Sabatino, aka Dean Clean.)

Ripper Owens has joined Yngwie's band and they're working on a new album. Woohoo!
Let's hope he releases it as Rising Force and not as a solo album.

These guys will create some nice shortcuts...

Thomen Stauch (drums; ex-BLIND GUARDIAN, SAVAGE CIRCUS), David DeFeis (vocals; VIRGIN STEELE) and Axel Ritt (guitar; DOMAIN) have joined forces in a new, as-yet-unnamed band.

This band connects Moritz Von Oswald to Vladislav Delay and Max Loderbauer (Sun Electric):

(Adebimpe's in the queue btw... TVOTR gets in via Elk City, Slow Dazzle, The Mendoza Line, and Iran.)
