This is by way of a homage to Tommy Vance. (If you need to know, look him up.)

Who remembers "The Friday Night Connection"? I'm still scratching my head ofver the piece of atmospheric solo acoustic-but-amplified music connected with Hawkwind's Nuclear Drive from Chrurch of Hawkwind, then Beatles She's So Heavy from Abbey Road. Been looking everywhere for a heavy metal outfit who did such an acoustic piece called Something Cathedral or whatever ecclesiastical building the other end of the connection was.

And what was that show where every record was "linked" to the one before? Zappa linked with Beatles by the "link" that the cover of Zappa's "Money" was a pisstake of Pepper.

What *was* that show? Was it Nicky Horne?

Dunno what the other show was, but the theme music for the Friday Night Connection was Van Der Graaf Generator's "Theme One". And once instead of the Friday Night Connection, he played 3 different versions of "Theme One" by different artists.
