Non-linking Musicians/Discographies

I have a couple of questions as to whether or not particular items are desired in the database.

1) If a band is already in the database, are you interested in recordings with lineups that contain musicians not already listed if those musicians are not known to link to further bands?

2) If I have discography/anthology/singles collection releases that would add bands or lineups to the database, but those lineups all exist on previous releases which I do not have, would you prefer I not submit said release?

1) Yes

2) No, submit it

Pretty much every musical release that we can put in is welcome and encouraged. By all means, submit both types of items.

(In the case of anthologies, I often do the research to submit the earlier albums even if I don't own them, because it helps nail down the exact lineups for the anthologies a little more nicely. Otherwise, verifying one giant album can be more painful.)
