I would be interested in opinions regarding whether this album should be considered as an Ian Hunter solo album or whether "Dirty Laundry" is the name of the band.

On the album itself it lists "The band" (Ian Hunter, Darrell Bath, Casino Steel, Honest John Plain, Glen Matlock and Vom Ritchie) separately from "additional musicians" which implies to me that it is a band, although I know that it started life as a "Casino Steel and friends" project which evolved into something else while being recorded. I don't actually think it's an Ian Hunter solo album as he doesn't even seem to appear on all the tracks!

I don't think they ever toured as a band but does that make any difference?

I would like to see the album on the site simply because it's one of the best rock albums ever and worthy of a place in anybody's collection!

Thoughts anybody?
Send it in!

Agree with you about Hunter. Everything he's done is worthy on some level. Saw him & Ronson supporting Cheap Trick in Cincinnati in 1979. It was: "Cleveland sucks!"

(with apologies and sympathy to any from that particular area of Ohio)
