Just so I don't forget them, I'm listing all the bands in the tree (and some mapping examples) that can provide us with triples, which is possible only when a band has two lineups that have no members in common.

The Champs (Buddy Bruce -> Jerry Cole)
Dr. Feelgood (Robert Kane -> Wilko Johnson)
The Guess Who (Domenic Troiano -> Mike McKenna)
Napalm Death (Danny Herrera -> Justin Broadrick)
The New Christy Minstrels (Karol Dugan -> Mike Settle)
Quiet Riot (Paul Shortino -> Randy Rhoads)

Makes me wish I could get Sonicflood into the tree -- they released successive albums between which the entire lineup changed.
Renaissance is another one ...

... from s/t to Land of Cockayne, or Third to Rubber Riff, etc.

Some of the links go outside the actual band. Entertaining.

Initial lineup: nicol, thompson, hutchings, lamble, matthews, dyble - by 4 years later it was pegg, swarbrick, mattacks, hill. And that's just for starters ...

What about quadruples? There must be a band out there that can do this for us.

Fairports, wouldn't be surprised. Will need research.

... except not - Dave Pegg has been around since 1970 and is AFAIK *still* in the band.

... as soon as Pieces is on the db.

Not bad for only four albums.

I found a quadruple and I can link it to the db: a Belgian girl band called Sha-Na. The only problem is: I can't find any releases for one of the lineups (but I know for sure they released a couple of singles). They split up over ten years ago and this is not the kind of music a lot of people would make a website for so finding info on them isn't that easy. (It's one of those bands put together by a manager who decides everything for them. One of the girls got fired because she cut her hair without telling first.)
Anyway, it'll be a while before they're in the db since six other bands need to be linked first but it should be interesting.

Sorry, I don't get how Velvet Underground is a triple. Even if Doug Yule gets sole credit for "Squeeze", he was also on the self-titled album. So Nico to Yule (or Cale to Yule) only requires a two-album path (via Reed, Tucker, or Morrison). Or am I missing something?

Think albums, not members. Any time you have two mutually exclusive lineups, you have the possibility for a triple:
