Anyone remember 80s NWOBHM outfit Stampede?

Does anyone remember NWOBH band Stampede, founded by Reuben Archer and Laurence Archer in 1981?

They are set to reform this year after splitting in 1983! There is a provisional date booked for September 19th at The Robin 2 in Bilston, Wolverhampton.

The line-up will consist of original members Reuben and Laurence Archer and Colin Bond. Clive Edwards (formerly of Wild Horses, Pat Travers, Bernie Torme) will replace Eddie Parsons on drums as Eddie's whereabouts is unknown.

With the likes of UFO, Saxon and Scorpions still going strong I think its great these guys have decided to give it a go!

They are playing at The Robin 2 in Bilston, West Midlands UK on Saturday 19th September.
