[ ] Suggestion for information presentation - artist history

We have the band history, like this (cut and pasted from link from front page):

The following artists played in Indecision:
Members 96 99
Steve Bago: A B
Justin Brannan: A B
Rachel Rosen: A B
Pat Flynn (US 2):A B
Tom Sheehan: A
Artie Phillie: B

There is currently no quick way to see who has played with a particular artist, particularly if that artist has played in lots of different bands. So while it is clear to see who (for example) Dave Brock has played with because (except for a few exceptions) everything he has done has been with Hawkwind, it is not possible to get this for, say, Chick Corea or Hugh Hopper, to mention two guys who have played in several bands.

So I suggest a matrix similar to the Band matrix (above) where you would have a key at the bottom, e.g.

A: The Blue Mitchell Quintet (1965)
B: Chick Corea (solo) (1967-1970)
C: Rolf Kuhn Jazzgroup (1971)
B: Chick Corea (solo) (1971-1972)
D: Chick Corea And Return To Forever (1972)
E: Circle (1972)
B: Chick Corea (solo) (1973)
F: Gary Burton · Chick Corea (collaboration) (1973)
G: Return To Forever (1973)

:
... and so on.

The same list of personnel under different names would appear as the same lineup letter, so as to reduce bloating by artists and bands who change their name every release.
