New postings on forum

You've got an icon indicating a new posting on a topic in a forum - any chance of using that icon to point to the forum as well if there's a new posting in that forum? Saves having to click on the forum to see if there's anything new in it (I'm still on snailband and it would save time).

It seems that my only option as far as I can tell is to list the date and author of the most recent post, unlike the forum topics where you can see if there are any unread messages. For consistancy I'd like both to work in the same manner, only list if there are unread posts but it's going to take some poking around the code to see if I can make that happen. Hopefully this will work for now.

A quick bit of mathematical calculation (ie counting on my fingers) tells me the time shown on here is 8 hours behind the time zone I'm in so I'm guessing it's PST, right?

Nice math, you are correct about the time zone. I'm west coast US and since I do the code business it helps prevent me from going insane if none of the time stamps make sense when I'm trying to figure out what's going on.
