General Usefulness

Yesterday I switched over the Latest Additions from working like the linking program and instead it now takes you directly to the band page. Kate mentioned that she would type in a band directly into the search box to get where she wanted to go since the linking part didn't get her there. Are there any other tricks people find themselves doing more often than not to get the site to do something they want it to do since there isn't an option available to do it? I realize that there aren't a ton of different options to do with bands, family trees, and member linking but I might as well try and make the most out the site could potentially do.

This is not so much as a poll for new feature requests but rather with how the site operates now and if it flows as naturally as it should.

... it would be nice for the links from (for example) the albums / album covers on the "Help" page to work, but not necessary ...
