automate the adding procedure and have users only verify stuff

adding everything by hand is a slow process.
but alot of the information is allready somewhere on the internet.
on discogs or wikipedia and stuff.
so why not create a tool where you can search for a specific album that is missing, and have the most information be taken from that site.
then the user only needs to verify that the information it found is correct, or if stuff is missing, add it (if band members or that sort of stuff is missing)
also the album cover could be taken directly from discogs.

i think this would make it much more pleasant to add stuff because it will go quicker

This is the correct idea on adding data however API's for Discogs / Wikipedia to easily import this sort of data has never been good enough in terms of standards of data quality or formatting. With that said it has been a while since I've looked at the options. I'll take a look around when I get the chance.
